Dr. Lilia Berkovich
Dr. Berkovich is a clinical psychologist licensed in IL and NY, specializing in anxiety, trauma reactions, depression and mood dysregulation, immigration and acculturation difficulties, psychosomatic and somatic concerns, obsessive-compulsive and perfectionistic tendencies, addiction, disordered eating and body image difficulties, as well as relationship problems.
Dr. Berkovich relies on relational, classical, and bodymind psychodynamic approaches and hopes for therapy to be a genuine, stimulating, and welcoming space. She is passionate about working with individuals and couples who are invested in the therapy process and are interested in in-person sessions.
Dr. Berkovich provides services in English, Hebrew, and Russian. Dr. Berkovich received her Bachelor’s degree from Tel-Aviv University in Israel and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition to her work at Chicago Anxiety Counseling, Supervision, and Consultation, Dr. Berkovich has previous experience in private practice, offering psychotherapy, supervision, and evaluation services. Furthermore, Dr. Berkovich has worked in medical and psychiatric hospitals, drug and alcohol treatment centers, the juvenile court/probation system, and schools. She enjoys teaching doctoral students and helping them become authentic and attuned future psychologists.
