Jessie Beebe, LCSW

Jessie Beebe, (Mindfulness, Relational Psychodynamic), is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has 10 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. Jessie has held clinical positions at Rush University Medical Center, Heartland Alliance and AIDS Foundation Chicago. She has worked with diverse populations including people living with HIV and people experiencing homelessness. She has treated individuals living with depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other chronic health conditions.

Jessie primarily works with couples and individuals strugglingwith anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. She also works with postpartum women and helps parents adjust to parenthood. Jessie’s approach is rooted in a psychodynamic perspective. She values the importance of developing a shared understanding of how childhood relationships, patterns, and dynamics play out in our current lives. From a place of greater self-awareness and reflection, Jessie likes to explore how we can take an active role in changing maladaptive patterns and ways of being. Oftentimes taking an active role means addressing thinking patterns, undergoing behavioral changes, and attending to relationship dynamics in the here and now. As a social worker, Jessie is deeply person-centered and believes in understanding a person not only as a unique individual but as someone who is shaped by their environment.
